The January Book - The Power of Less by Leo Babauta

Howdy Team Awesome! The Power of Less by Leo Babauta came to my attention at work. I work at the University of Kentucky and one of our professors uses it in a graduate level course as a textbook. It caught my eye. The subtitle sold me - The Fine Art of Limiting Yourself to the Essential. I have two jobs (day job and writing job), a boyfriend, deadlines, an anthology I'm editing, cooking lessons, things to do, people to beat. I'm distracted and interrupted constantly. It's impossible sometimes to get one single thing done in a day. This book might not change my life but it's worth a shot, eh?

I've only read the introduction to the book so far but I'm already intrigued. I told Andrew (@andrewtshaffer on Twitter) that my philosophy of reading self-help books is that if I get one useful thing out of the book that I can keep and use for the rest of my life, it's been worth the time and effort.
