On Guns and Book Reviewers

Lots of talk on Twitter today about the tragic shooting in Colorado and the bullying of authors and critics on Goodreads. This is all I'll say about it. Once upon a time, a fan of Stephen King sent a picture to the author. The photograph showed a stuffed animal with a gun held to its head. Attached was the note, "Release the next Dark Tower book or the bear gets it."

That is the only right way to threaten a writer. That is the only right reason to use a gun.
